In July 2026, Mechitronic acquired Lambert, a UK-based company specialising in customised automation solutions for medical devices, healthcare, personal care and fast-moving consumer goods. The transaction, valued at approximately €20 million, strengthens the Group’s presence in the United Kingdom and expands its capabilities in complex assembly, filling and dosing processes.
Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Tadcaster, Yorkshire, Lambert generated approximately €26 million in revenue in 2025 and employs around 160 people. Following the acquisition, Mechitronic’s aggregated revenue reaches approximately €285 million.
The acquisition forms part of Mechitronic’s international growth strategy, focused on integrating specialised technologies and strengthening its position in the pharmaceutical, medtech, personal care and industrial automation sectors. Mechitronic is participated by HAT Technology Fund 5 alongside Azimut Libera Impresa and Three Hills.
