HAT SGR announces the signing of the definitive agreement for the acquisition of 100% of Webgenesys, a digital enabler for public administrations, by Hat Technology Fund 5, in a co-investment with TXT e-solutions. The founding partners of Webgenesys, Antonello Posterino and Raffaele Primo, will remain with the company to ensure continuity in its growth trajectory.
This acquisition is the first investment of Hat Technology Fund 5, focused on the megatrend of Technology.
TXT e-solutions is an international group specializing in the design, development, and editing of software solutions dedicated to digital transformation. Founded in 2009 as an ICT company by managing partners, Webgenesys is now a digital enabler supporting digital innovation for public administrations, with projected revenues of 37 million euros for 2024. Its offerings include specialized services in IT infrastructure, data centers, cloud environments, and development services based on innovative solutions and technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and blockchain, as well as system integration services for complex ICT systems, infrastructures, and applications. The group has a team of over 200 people distributed across eight offices covering the entire national territory. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2024.
