Mech-I-Tronic was among the companies recognized at the CFO Award 2026, the award promoted by Accuracy and ANDAF in collaboration with Borsa Italiana and with Economy as media partner. The tenth edition of the award took place at the Snam Auditorium – The Energy House in Milan and was dedicated to the theme of the real economy as a driver of the future. The initiative focused on the role of companies, investments, skills and financial leadership in supporting the country’s growth and competitiveness, in a context marked by technological transformation, energy transition and increasing geopolitical complexity.
During the ceremony, Federico Lentis, CFO of Mechitronic S.p.A., was awarded in the Diamond company category for supporting the group’s accelerated growth. The recognition highlights his contribution to extraordinary transactions, fundraising, governance and financial structuring in a rapidly evolving corporate environment. His work combined finance, M&A, organization and industrial vision, supporting the group’s consolidation and development path. In this sense, the finance function was recognized as both an operational and strategic lever, capable of supporting expansion and strengthening the company’s managerial structure.
The Mech-I-Tronic case reflects the increasingly central role of the CFO in growing industrial companies. In a scenario characterized by macroeconomic uncertainty, stronger competition and the need for investments, financial management is no longer limited to controlling figures, but directly contributes to defining strategic priorities. M&A transactions, capital raising, governance and planning become fundamental tools to build a stronger and more scalable platform. The award recognizes precisely this ability to combine financial discipline, industrial vision and execution.
Mech-I-Tronic’s recognition was part of an edition that also involved CFOs from companies such as Banco BPM, Dolomiti Energia, Porto Aviation Group and Quid, as well as special awards assigned to Lucart, RES and Princes Retail. Overall, the CFO Award 2026 highlighted how financial leadership is now a key element in addressing complex scenarios and supporting the growth of companies in the real economy. For Mech-I-Tronic, the award represents a confirmation of the path undertaken and of the role of finance as a strategic support to the group’s industrial development and consolidation.
