MECH-I-TRONIC (MIT), backed by HAT SGR, through the HAT Technology 5 fund, Three Hills Capital Partners and Azimut Libera Impresa SGR, has acquired Apex Machine in the United States and RK Ferramentaria in Brazil. The dual transaction marks MIT’s first direct entry into the Americas and is part of a broader buy-and-build strategy backed by over €100 million earmarked for acquisitions and development..

Apex Machine, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale with over 100 years of history, provides integrated automation and packaging solutions primarily for the medical and pharmaceutical industries, generating over €20 million in revenues in 2025. RK Ferramentaria, based in Curitiba, Brazil, specializes in high-performance multi-cavity injection moulds for the food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical packaging sectors, with approximately €4 million in revenues. Both founders have reinvested in the MIT federation, underscoring their confidence in the group as a strategic partner for future growth.

With these additions, MECH-I-TRONIC now comprises 15 highly specialized companies across Europe, China, and the Americas, with combined annual revenues of approximately €260 million, over 1,400 employees, and clients in more than 50 countries. The group targets €500 million in revenues by 2028.
